We’ve designed a quilted coverlet made from organic cotton! YIPPEE. It has just enough batting for warmth, quilted tight on organic cotton ticking to prevent bunching. And best of all? It’s machine washable. For years, other companies would offer organic cotton comforters, which can’t be washed, and we held strong in our belief to not offer this item since dust mites love cotton, therefore, it has to be washed. An unwashable comforter didn’t make sense (sure we could make money selling it – but we knew it wasn’t a good product – and we just don’t do that). When people see the catalog they assume I’m a granola eating tree hugger. Well, I don’t really like granola — but I do love trees! The thing is I don’t fit into any real stereotype. I’m pretty much a normal gal. But I do have a passion to feel fulfilled and rewarded by contributing what I can — while I’m here. And I think that’s also a normal feeling for most of us, especially as we get older.
